I’m committed to powerful, inevitable, changemaking…by supporting changemakers like YOU!

Hi, I’m Erika (she/her)!

Over the past 20 years I’ve helped hundreds of organizations & entrepreneurs exponentially expand their impact in alignment with their values by leveraging the power of connection-centered, relationship-driven sales & marketing strategies.

Calling all industry-innovators, culture-shifters, changemakers, liberatory leaders, bold visionaries, rule breakers, and revolutionaries…

Your work is already changing lives, communities, and futures. It’s transformational. And it’s vital.

The problem isn’t that there’s a lack of passion. Your organization cares deeply about its mission. Your current community champions your work.

However, it can feel daunting when know where you want to go, so clearly see the impact you want to make, but be unclear on how best to make that happen.

Especially when it seems like every other week there’s a new marketing trend or platform to learn.

When your mission growth is too important to gamble on…don’t!

Partner with an expert who cares as much about amplifying your impact as you do. I’m that expert.

I want to make sure your impact-driven organization can thrive!

The best way to do that is with custom growth solutions. I’m excellent at crafting unique solutions for my clients because of the depth and breadth of my experiences. Below you can read more about some of the professional and personal experiences that inform my work.

Word on the Street

  • Erika is the person I look to for guidance

“Erika will help you work with your strengths and identify areas where you can improve so that you can see immediate outcomes. When I really want to be focused in my efforts and in implementing changes, Erika is the person I look to for guidance.”

    — Kristin Brenner

  • Erika is ethical and compassionate

“Erika’s superpower is making big, nebulous things (like marketing) feel actionable and doable.

I would recommend Erika to anyone who is looking to get whole-human, individualized marketing help with their business. Erika’s definitely not “one-size fits all” with her help, and is the antithesis of “bro-dude” marketing. (Ugh!)

She’s ethical and compassionate and genuinely wants to help grow your business in a way that feels good and is sustainable to you.”

    — Stephanie Cleary

  • Erika is my sales secret weapon!

“Her wide range of experiences and positive spin on marketing has built up and expanded both my own confidence and the confidence of my clients.”

    — Beryl Young

From multimillion-dollar stores to solopreneurs…

I’ve pretty much seen it all, and I use this vast experience to inform the unique way I craft sustainable growth strategies for my clients.

For nearly two decades, I’ve been running businesses of all kinds and sizes—from one-person operations to multimillion-dollar retail teams.

I’ve seen firsthand that there’s no one “perfect” way to operate — only one that’s perfectly aligned with your strengths, values, and vision.

My superpower is seeing the often overlooked opportunities for growth & helping you strategize the best way to make it happen, regardless of how big your organization is.

I work with organizations who are superb at what they offer and are…

  • Well-established entrepreneurs running a B2B or B2C business

  • Non-profit organizations, especially working in food systems, food justice, or entrepreneurial support/education

  • Small businesses, especially those that work in sustainability and/or small business support

I’m not interested in forcing some one-size-fits-all blueprint or copy-and-paste framework onto your organization.

I want to help you grow in a way that works for YOU.

WE’RE SO MUCH MORE THAN JUST OUR WORK, RIGHT?

I’ve lived an exciting life and every part of it informs how I work.

I know my clients are more than just their work too. Their values, stories, experiences, and identities play an integral role in how they run their organizations.

So when we hop on a call, I want to learn about YOU, not just your organization. That way, I can make sure you get the exact help you need for who you are, where you are right now, and how you the future to look.

xx Erika

A bit MoRe aBoUt me:

Testifying before Congress

In January 2016, I testified before the United States’ House Subcommittee of Agriculture and Nutrition. I had five minutes to share my testimony about military food insecurity.

I’m a fierce activist on this issue, and it’s one far too few people even know exists.

I’ve also been interviewed about it on ABC News Primetime, NPR, and more!

Running for Office

In January 2017, I was asked to run for the role of Village Justice for the Village of Ballston Spa in upstate New York. No, I don’t have legal experience, but I didn’t need it for the position.

I lost by 69 votes, but our canvassing efforts massively improved voter turnout and helped elect two Democrats to the Board (for the first time in nearly three decades!)

Regenerative Farming & Food Justice

Many years ago, I ran a micro-farm called Little Sparrow Farm, named after a Dolly Parton Song. I turned most of my yard into growing beds and sold at markets and local restaurants.

I’m passionate about the power of food & farming, and I’ve got lots of strong opinions on farmworker rights and food access issues.

Middle Earth Fandom

I’m obsessed with Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Every fall, I boisterously celebrate Hobbit Week, which is the week of Hobbit Day (Sept. 22). Every winter, I rewatch the extended versions of both trilogies.

I’m truly a Hobbit at heart and I love when people send me LOTR memes.

Women’s Flat Track Roller Derby

I’ve both played and refereed women’s flat-track roller derby with the Albany All Stars of upstate New York. The intra-league team I skated on was The Department of Public Hurts.

My derby name is Brass Snuggles but most of my friends call me “Snuggs.“

(I could barely skate when I tried out too!)

Love for all things Spooky & Strange

When I’m not working, there’s a good chance I’m watching a documentary about true crime or cults, or listening to a podcast on those topics; with Law & Order SVU re-runs sprinkled in for good measure.

I also get a kick out of Halloween & all things spooky. I still dress up each year even though my son stopped years ago.

I can’t wait to connect with you to craft your personalized growth plan, based on proven strategies, that also honor all the facets of YOU!
